Williamsburg

The Historic Triangle

Williamsburg is the major city in the historic triangle, made up of Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. Jamestown was established in the 16th century as the first major settlement, and Williamsburg became the largest and most populated of the 13 colonies. Yorktown was where independence was won during the American Revolutionary War of the 18th century.

History without tears

Williamsburg is a really exciting place to spend time, and you should visit the two other towns as well. This is about how the country was born, and grew up, and it is presented in a way that is educational, understandable and very enjoyable too. You will see so many things that make history come alive that you will never forget this part of United States history. There are many other things to do as well, the city makes you welcome with good food and great entertainment; really everything for a pleasant break.
