Legendary beaches Mention Hawaii and the first thought that comes to mind for many people is legendary Waikiki Beach on the south shore of Oahu. For those of you who are unaware of this tropical paradise, Waikiki, Hawaii features a 2-mile sweep of sun-kissed surf and Waikiki shore lying below Diamond Head and is one of the most tourist-friendly areas on all the Hawaiian Islands.
